The Brothers, also known as It's Your Thing, is a popular funk and soul group from the 1970s. Formed in 1969, the group consists of brothers Ernie, Rudy, and Marvin Isley, as well as their cousin Chris Jasper. The Brothers are best known for their hit single "It's Your Thing," which topped the Billboard R&B chart in 1969 and was later inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame. They have released a number of albums throughout their career, including their debut album, It's Our Thing, and their most recent album, The Isley Brothers: The RCA Victor and T-Neck Album Masters (1959-1983).
